VOLUNTEERS FOR AGRICULTURAL DEVELPMENT

Volunteers for Agricultural Development (VAD) is a Women Lead humanitarian and development organization headquartered in Mogadishu, Somalia. The organization was created in 2018 to respond to the humanitarian needs of vulnerable communities in Somalia.

The majority of the management and staff working for VAD, seek to address problems in their communities, and therefore they possess a profound understanding of the difficulties being faced at the community level, as well as a deep commitment to the achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives.

VAD is committed to supporting those in urgent need and protecting their dignity while creating long term opportunities for sustainable growth. VAD endeavors to respond to humanitarian crises and build resilience, and promote inclusive and sustainable development.
